Accelerate the opening of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

When you launch Word, Excel or PowerPoint from the Office suite, a welcome screen will be displayed for a fair while depending on your computer’s hardware configuration.
 
Here is how you can avoid displaying this screen, which will speed up the programs load time by a few seconds.

Start by right clicking on the application icon of the program you want to speed up (Word, for example) and select "Properties".

Then go to the "Shortcut", add "-q" to the end of the details present in the "Target" field and press on OK.

Do the same thing for each of the other application shortcuts.
