Access an Internet site from the Start menu

July 09th, 2010 - 07:10 am ET by D. T.

While the real time search menu present in the Windows Vista and 7 operating systems allows you to very quickly access applications (see our previous tip), it also allows you to quickly access Web pages.

To do this, you simply have to enter the address of the Internet site including the "www" and ".com" suffixes. The Internet site will then be loaded by your default Web browser.

An example of this can be seen below with the Generation-NT site opening in Firefox:

Site web 1 Site web 2

Site web 3
