The
American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council
(ACT-IAC) today announced the election results for the ACT Executive
Committee and the IAC Executive Committee at Management
of Change 2012. The new leaders will take office on July 1.
In accordance with the ACT bylaws, Darren Ash will become ACT
President on July 1, 2012. The ACT Executive Committee elected Rick
Holgate as Executive Vice President. He will become ACT President on
July 1, 2013. New to the ACT Executive Committee are Mike Howell, Amy
Northcutt and Keith Trippie. Current members who were
reelected for a second term are Jonathan Alboum, Steve Elky,
Margie Janney and John Teeter. They join current members Deborah
Diaz, Adrian Gardner, Darlene Meskell, Rory Schultz,
Peter Tseronis and Kathleen Turco. Current ACT President Mary
Davie remains on the Executive Committee as Immediate Past President.
“We are excited to bring new talent to the Executive Committee,” said
Ms. Davie, current ACT President. “Mike, Amy and Keith are joining one
of the most dynamic ECs we have ever had. I know that this Executive
Committee, under the leadership of Darren Ash, will continue to enhance
ACT’s value to the government IT community.”
In accordance with the IAC bylaws, Dale Luddeke (TASC) becomes
IAC Chair on July 1, 2012. The IAC membership elected Jim Williams
(Daon) as Executive Vice Chair. He will become the IAC Chair on July 1,
2013. Bob Suda (Suda and Associates) was elected as Vice Chair
for Finance while Judy Douglas (HP), Sherry Weir (Kearney
& Company), Dan Chenok (IBM) and Mitzi Mead (Accela
Consulting) were elected as Vice Chairs at Large. These individuals will
serve two-year terms.
Remaining on the IAC Executive Committee are Vice Chairs at Large Wayne
Davis (CenturyLink), Ira Hobbs (Hobbs & Hobbs), Joel
Horwitz (VMD Systems Integrators), Carol Miller (Mackson
Consulting), Andrew McLauchlin (CGI) and Mike Mullen (Deep
Water Point). Outgoing IAC Chair Jim Beaupre (JB Federal
Consulting) remains on the Executive Committee for another year as
Immediate Past Chair.
With this election, Executive Committee members Kathleen Cowles (LGS
Innovations), Ed Meagher (SRA), John Okay (J.L. Okay
Consulting), and Jeff Shen (Red Team Consulting) complete their
terms on the Executive Committee.
“The IAC membership has selected an outstanding Executive Committee,”
said Jim Beaupre, current IAC Chair. “I am certain that our elected
members, under the leadership of incoming chair Dale Luddeke, will
continue to lead the charge in serving the government technology
community through our unique collaboration with ACT.”
