Age of Mytholgoy - Acting Strange

I've owned the game for a while, an despite that I'm running it on vista the
plain age of mythology works fine. However, once I got around to installing
the Titans expansion, it came up with a series of damaged or missing files. I
tried using the retry button several time, yet to no avail, so I kept hitting
ignore when these came up. After 20 minutes or so of clicking ignore, it
finished the install. When i loaded it up it gave a strange looking selection
screen and the tiles in the back ground where all mismatched. With this I've
come to the conclusion that my disk may have gone bad somehow, even though it
seems to be fine. Is there some type of fix program I can use to remedy my
game?

P.S. I'm not sure if it matters but I patched the game hoping that might fix
the problem.

Get hold of another copy of the expansion as it sounds like yours is not
100%, Doesn't have to be a legit copy as you have a legit key for it so you
are just getting a backup copy for your own personal use!
