AmeriHealth New Jersey today announced the launch of AHNJ On the Go, a new smart phone application available for free from any iPhone or Android device.

AHNJ On the Go is a secure and convenient way to get a variety of information while at home, work, or even at a doctor’s visit. The app provides members with mobile access to vital health insurance information including:

• Mobile Provider Finder
• Personal Health Record
• Prescription Drug Pricing Tool
• Open Specialist Referrals
• Multi-Year Claim History

AHNJ On the Go is one of several new technology-related initiatives the company has released in recent months. The infographics provide clarity on some of the more commonly used health insurance terms and also address vital health information.
