activex command buttons and text boxes

I was hoping someone could help with coding an activex command button s
it will clear text box feilds in a Word document. I've found the code t
do this on a VB form, but the same code doesn't work in a Word doc.
would also like to be able to set as tab index in these same text boxes
so a person can scroll through them with the tab key. Once again, i
works in a VB form, but I haven't figured it out how to do it in Word
Thanks

I can't answer you original question re coding, but you can scrol
through word text fields by using F11 (and shift F11 to go back). Ou
secretaries use this pretty often

You will probably find that a UserForm is more useful in Word. See
