Dear Maintainer,

Attempting to install python without a package providing awk installed
will fail, but awk is not a dependency.

python, python-minimal, or python2.6-minimal should depend on awk.

My mistake, somehow I didn't have base-files installed, an essential package
depending on awk.

Please close this bug.
