Everything is an attachment

I have newly installed WLM on Win 7 using traditional POP3 accounts. When I
receive mail, I see the subject, but all of the body text becomes an
attachment. This occurs to all new mail and all mail I imported from Ourlook
Express.

I do not have this problem on my Vista machines.

Any ideas?

No, that does not help. This is indeed a strange one. I have moved the mail
storage location and still have the same problem.

What does that mean..
- moved the entire message store to another folder, drive
- moved the message to another folder in the email account
- moved the message to WLM's Storage folders

If you drag the message to the desktop and open in Notepad(Shift Right click, choose open with, then Notepad)
- ensure that the option to always open in Notepad ****is not** checked.

I found the problem.

The security settings that were set for where IE was saving its "Temporay
Internet Files" would not allow me to create files. Not sure why WLM uses
this location, but obviously it does. I fixed the security settings on this
directory and WLM works perfect now.
