All,

Is it possible to have a blackberry device and connect it to an ex2003 sp2
server and use the blackberry in the place of a windows mobile device?

Reason i am asking is i would like to take a large department with around
100 Blackberries and get them on a ex2003 environment... id rather use the
100 available devices than buy 100 new windows mobile devices.

Thanks!

Arno

You will need to have a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) server in your
network to work with Exchange Server. You can do a cost comparison but I
would lean towards purchasing WM5 devices as opposed to purchasing BES
Server with Licenses. Per Blackberry website, pricing is $2999 for BES
Server and $5,999 for 100 User Pack.

FYI: Windows Mobile 6 Devices should start arriving soon so you might hold
off a bit if you can wait.
