Java (MSJVM)Download

February 25th, 2004 - 01:31 pm ET by wayne | Report spam
HI,
I am Trying to do somthing on my computer(fantasy baseball) that requires the java virtual machine. Apparently I do not have it, and when it pops up and I try to download it I am taken to a microsoft page that basically says that it is no longer available and is going through some sort of transition. If anyone can help me gain this download or somthing else that will take its place I would appreciate it. Thanks, Wayne

Hi

Take a look at this post by Jim Byrd to get some information on how to add
MS JVM to your OS installation::

If you are running Windows XP with no MS JVM installed, start with
installing v. 3805 (disregard that the post say Win2000 SP4, it will
install on WinXP as well).

Hi Wayne,

You can download MSVM from the following link. After you install it, go to
Windows Updates and download the security patch for it.
