Hi Everyone,

I hoping this forum is the correct one for my post. If not please tell
which group to post into.

Hi

I am hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

I am developing a 'Front End' application that is to run on Win CE 5.0.
I am running the .net Compact Framework and developing the app in
VB.Net.

The product is to be launched in multiple markets it main one being
China.

I know how to add support to the application for different 'Western'
languages like English, French, German etc but I am not sure about
'Eastern/Asian' I was hoping someone might be able to help me.

I have just been playing with the emulator and noticed that in the
regional settings under control panel that I cannot select China as the
Locale. Why is that ? Is that also true for builds of the OS in
Platform builder ?

In addition to the above can anyone shed any light on how I go about
using the Chinese charachters ? i.e. How do I enter them in my app.
I imagine that I must anter the Unicode code somehow ? But I have to
have the right Fonts installed ?

If any one is able to help I'd really appreciate it. Especially if
anyone knows of any links on the web that address this issue ?

Thanks in advance

Please don't *separately* post the same message to multiple groups. It's
annoying to those who read multiple groups and separates the answers to your
questions from the questions. If you feel like you must target multiple
groups, list them in the To field of a *single* message; most newsreaders
handle this like a single message and the replies in one group travel to all
of the others, keeping the questions and answers together. I've replied to
you in one of your other target groups.
