No outgoing mail

New PC with Windows 7. Can get incoming mail, but outgoing get the following
message:

The host 'smtp.east.cox.net ' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly.

Subject 'test'
Server: 'smtp.east.cox.net '
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 11004

Is Cox Communications both your ISP and Mail Server? Is that the way the
error looks exactly? If not, copy & paste it into this thread.

Looks like you have an illegal space character at the end of the
server name. Edit the server name under Tools, Accounts, select that
account, Properties, Servers.

If your error is identical, you have an illegal space character at the end
of the server name. Edit the server name under Tools, Accounts, select
that account, Properties, Servers.
If your error message is slightly different, please post it.
