Query re Internet Explorer 9

April 13th, 2012 - 05:10 pm ET by Ray | Report spam
I have been using IE8 with no problems except for an eternal Script error
message which I can't eliminate. I would like to have anyone's opinion
regarding IE9. Perhaps IE9 will run without interrupting almost every time
I open a different page.

Configured script notification settings in IE's properties/Advance tab ???
- Disable script debugging (IE) -> Check to disable
- Disable script debuggin (Other) -> Check to disable
- Display a notification about every script error -> Uncheck to prevent
notification

This is the Windows Live Mail newsgroup. Of course, it isn't very active, since
it only exists as a shadow on servers that didn't honor the remove group
messages when Microsoft shut down the news service for the micorosft.public
heirarchy.
For help with IE, go here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie
As for the script error and upgrading, it might resolve the issue. Going to IE9
is a good idea, though, as it is an improvement over IE8.

Whether or not you could install IE9 depends on which version of Windows
that you have but neglected to mention. IE9 won't install on Windows XP
and earlier.
