I will likely be on Roy and Goblin's show again soon... and looking for
suggestions of questions. To be clear, the questions must be reasonable
ones - something like "why are you a <derogatory term>" is not at all
acceptable.
I do think it is fine to ask things in the form of "you said <something not
true>. This is clearly not true because <reasons>. Why would you say
something like that and are you willing to rescind your public claim of
<something not true>"
And, to be fair, I have no problem with people suggesting questions of the
same type to Roy and Goblin.
While I hope for a good, friendly discussion, I expect it might get a little
more "heated" - largely because I have done the homework I agreed to do on
the last show and the evidence is not friendly to Roy's views. To be fair I
have shared, I believe, all of the evidence I am likely to present about
those things - I am *not* trying to get Roy in some "sting" or otherwise be
unfair to him in any way. Asking questions about his comments and views is
fair - just as his asking me similar questions is also fair (though I do not
want it to become a quiz contest to see who can catch the other in areas we
are ignorant - that just gets silly).
And, of course, focusing on the minutia of COLA is useless on a show which
is not about COLA. I have no desire to do that (it would bore most of the
audience and, frankly, the purpose of a show is to discuss things that the
audience is likely to find interesting... if not, why would they listen).
And I have *no* desire to sabotage their show in *any* way... regardless of
my disagreements with Roy, he is very kind to allow me on his show and to
"face" me. They have no obligation to allow anyone on *their* show. I
respect that highly in him (and Goblin - but I focus on Roy because he and I
tend to butt heads more).
OK, enough preamble... on with the suggestions for questions.
