I just got a new PC, which meant upgrading from Windows 98SE to Windows
XP.
I was glad to see an XP version of TweakUI, but I really miss some of the
other Power Toys features.

Is there any way to get the following?

* Desk Menu -- Click the Desk Menu icon on the Tray and get a menu
listing all objects on the desktop. Click a menu item and it opens on
top
of what was already open. All this works without having to minimize
anything.

* Send To Extensions -- These add to the Send To context menu option.
Not
all the features, but the following: Any Folder (which gives a
folder-selection window), Clipboard As Contents (without seeming to open
a
file, copy the file's contents to the clipboard), and Clipboard As Name
(put on the clipboard the complete path to the selected object).

* Target Context Menu -- This is a context menu item that applies to
shortcuts. It has a submenu with such actions as Open Container (open
the
folder containing the target of the shortcut) and Properties (display the
properties of the target, not of the shortcut).

I used all of these frequently and feel somewhat lost without them.

NOTE: Because I was not sure which would be the proper newsgroup for
this
question, I cross-posted. However, I set Followup-To for only
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.

I use the Target Context Menu toy w/ XP, it seems to work just fine.

Here's another link w/ good info on all the W95 toys and their use in XP:

I finally got the Target Context Menu to work with WinXP, using the link
you cited. Apparently, my problem was caused by the .REG file not
completely deleting all three keys (perhaps because one of the first two
keys was already non-existent). Your cited Web page showed me which
three keys I should manually delete. Everything worked after I deleted
the third key.

Thanks.
