Smart document with Office Standard Edition

hi there

I'm planning to use microsoft smart document technology for supporting
business processes. I have searched the web but couldn't find aany technical
system requirements. Apparently using microsoft office 11 (2003) is mandatory
- what about the editions? Can i use standard edition or is the professional
edition obligatory?

Thank you for a quick answer.

Office 2003 Professional is obligatory. Or the standalone version. The standard
version of Office doesn't contain any XML capabilities except for the open/save
conversion filters (I think it has those, anyway).
