Using DRM to open browser window

July 07th, 2009 - 04:23 pm ET by Tom Jeffries | Report spam
I want to use DRM (or some other technology) to open a browser window when a
file is played. I am not interested in using DRM for protection, I simply
want to use it as a way to interact with the viewer.

Is this possible? Do I need to get a DRM license to do this? I'd rather
not pay $10K for royalties when there are no royalties involved.

I tried the demo on the EZDRM site. It doesn't work, with too many problems
to detail here. Is this related to the version of DRM?

Hello
No, it may be your PC or DRM componets are not activated on your PC.

The first time you do any DRM you will get prompted to allow the
active X to activate the DRM side of things.
