Gameloft launched in March the second edition of the mobile adaptation of the television game A Prendre ou a laisser, known as the box game in the English speaking world, and animated on French television by Arthur. This new version resembles a lot more the television show and brings with it some new functions to spice up the games.

The object is simple: eliminate the boxes one by one to try and get to the end with the 715,000 dollars box in your possession. This second edition of the game also allows the player to take on the role of the banker, who has 855,000 dollars to try and tempt the chosen candidate to select your amount rather then that contained in the box.

A prendre ou a laisser 2nd edition keeps the same atmosphere and surroundings of the television show, allowing you to customize the candidate with a real photo o by using the creation mode with numerous options.
Poker is a sure winner on most platforms and mobile phones are no exception as there have already been numerous editions which are more or less successful. Texas Hold’em Poker offers all players the possibility of taking on the poker tables with different game modes.

This is a version which is close to the one which offers the Danish champion Gus Hansen as you find the same game system, as well as the tips offered by the coach to help perfect your game.

Texas Hold’em Poker has the advantage of offering a multiplayer game via Bluetooth so that you can challenge your friends in real time.
While poker is a sure hit, a vertical shoot’em up is also a good offer on mobile phones. Tom Clancy’s Hawx takes the scenario from this author’s geopolitical thriller and allows the player to take on the role of David Crenshaw who fly’s fighter planes all over the world to realize his missions.

As like in any good shoot’em up, you will find numerous bonuses and adversaries coming from all sides, and that’s without counting the boss at the end of the level who comes with powerful weapons. Between dodging and diving, destruction and flying, your reflexes should be given a good workout.

And to finish on a bit of a lower note, Gameloft has launched Uno as a Java mobile game (also available on the iPhone). The well known card game allows you to play on your mobile phone following the official game rules.

Uno can be played alone against the computer or as numerous players on the same phone, with the goal being to get together colours or numbers and using the special cards which can change the outcome of the game.
