Atlassian,
the leading provider of collaboration software for product teams, today
announced that industry analyst firm Gartner, Inc., has placed Atlassian
in the Leaders quadrant of its 2012 Application Lifecycle Management
(ALM) report[i]. The Magic Quadrant positions vendors based on their
ability to execute and completeness of vision.
The report finds that the ALM market is evolving, with a “focus on
coordinating the planning and execution of software projects emphasizing
work items, planning iterations and coordinating actions across teams.”
Moreover, “organizations are under pressure to accelerate the speed of
delivery of increasingly complex applications, improve efficiency across
teams, and increase engineering productivity and quality.”
