today that they have teamed with Avex Broadcasting & Communications,
Inc. (avex) as operator to deliver high-value content in the new NTT
DOCOMO d-Market VIDEO STORE via a downloadable app for select Android
phones and tablets. AuthenTec’s Downloadable DRM Fusion™ ensures that TV
and movie content in the VIDEO STORE, powered by BeeTV, is securely
delivered to mobile Android smartphone and tablet users for smooth
playback. The NTT DOCOMO VIDEO STORE, which is enabled by avex, is now
available as a downloadable application on d-Market.
This downloadable app gives Android users easy yet secure access to NTT
DOCOMO's VIDEO STORE, offering 5,000 titles of Japanese and foreign
movies, TV dramas, animation and music videos. This new offering from
DOCOMO has signed up more than one million subscribers since it was
launched in November 2011.
