Backupify Releases Summer 2011 Edition of Google Apps Backup Service

It also features the production launch of Backupify’s innovative CloudSight search service that makes it easy for IT administrators to locate items anywhere in the archive.

The new capabilities of the Summer 2011 Edition are now available, at no extra cost, to all Backupify subscribers backing up a Google Apps domain. Since its initial release in 2010, more than 4,500 businesses have chosen Backupify to safeguard their critical information in Google Apps. Recently, The Museum of Modern Art in New York selected Backupify to protect their data as it migrated more than 1,000 accounts from Microsoft Exchange to Google Apps. • CloudSight Search: Previously only available to beta test users, CloudSight Search is now available for all Backupify for Google Apps customers. • Full Account Download: Backupify now provides domain administrators with the ability to download all data associated with a given user account to a local archive. This functionality is particularly essential for inactive accounts (e.g. when an employee leaves a company) and streamlines the process of merging data between Google Apps user accounts.
