SpeechTEK 2012 (www.speechtek.com)
has announced that best-selling author Michael Vickers will keynote the
2012 SpeechTEK Conference and Exposition, Monday, August 13 at the New
York Marriott Marquis. The three-day conference goes through August 15.
Vickers is executive director of Summit Learning Systems, offering
customized in-house training and e-learning programs, and author of Becoming
Preferred: How to Outsell Your Competition. He will help
attendees figure out how to add three distinctive values to their
customer experiences and how to employ “the five customer values,” so
organizations won’t have to compete in a price war.
Conference co-chair James A. Larson, vice president of Larson Technical
Services, says that Vickers’ keynote is a perfect opening for this
year’s SpeechTEK Conference theme “Meet New Customers Demands with
Speech.”
“Enterprises today have an extraordinary number of tools at their
disposal with which to communicate,” says Larson. “At the same time,
customer expectations are increasing all the time. We selected Michael
as this year’s keynote speaker because of his unique expertise in
bringing distinctive qualities and value to the customer relationship.”
Vickers’ keynote, titled “Becoming Preferred: Up-Level the Brand
Experience,” will kickoff a conference agenda that offers executives,
customer service professionals, IT managers, and others access to over
70 conference sessions, panels and demonstrations covering every aspect
of the application of speech technology in corporate communications
strategies.
SpeechTEK is co-located at the Marriott Marquis with CRM Evolution (www.destinationcrm.com/conference)
and a new event, Customer Service Experience (www.custservexperience.com).
Each conference offers a unique perspective on how to address the
challenges managers face in making their organizations more competitive
and efficient.
The three conferences are also combining to offer an exposition of the
latest products and services from major speech technology and customer
relationship management vendors from around the world.
Organizers anticipate that the co-located SpeechTEK, CRM Evolution, and
Customer Service Experience Conferences and Exposition will be one of
the largest industry showcases of products, services, applications,
solutions and innovations focused on speech technology and customer
service management ever held.
