Bloomberg Government announced today it will host issue briefings, panel
discussions and keynote interviews focusing on economic policy issues at
the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. These programs are
part of the more than 40 panels and presentations Bloomberg LP will be
hosting at both conventions.
At the Bloomberg Link convention headquarters, Bloomberg Government
analysts, experts and executives will moderate discussions and release
studies on issues being debated at the presidential level including the
influence of Super PACs, sequestration, the future of energy and the
impact of the Affordable Care Act after the recent Supreme Court
decision.
Guest speakers and moderators will include former Secretary of State
Madeleine Albright, oil and gas executive, financier and billionaire
investor T. Boone Pickens and former Administrator of the Office of
Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) Cass Sunstein.
Bloomberg LP is sending more than 90 editors, reporters, producers and
analysts to cover the conventions including Bloomberg Government
analysts who will release studies and provide issue briefings on
technology and the broadband era and trends in job creation at internet
companies over the last five years. Bloomberg LP is publishing a
convention daily, Bloomberg Insider that will feature Bloomberg
Government analysis covering technology, energy security, Medicare,
defense spending and other economic issues.
