Bug#568479: any plans to apply this patch?

Hi!

I'm the maintainer of bridge-utils and I find that this patch would indeed
solve the problem of adding hotplug interfaces to a bridge.

I'm wondering if there are any plans to add this to ifupdown in the future
or if this patch or feature is not well seen by current ifupdown
maintainers.

Yes, I think it's a good idea, but I think I need to rework the patch a
bit... I'll notify you as soon as I get anything on this.
