Package: orage
Version: 4.8.1-1
Severity: normal

hi,

Should depends on only the 4.8 version, or something like > 4.6.x-y (whatever the syntax is),
as it makes orage uninstallable. right now, I see in aptitude:

p A 4.6.4-1 xfce unstable 2,253
p A 4.6.4-1 xfce unstable 2,253
i A 4.8.2-1 xfce experimental 3,613

and the top one is red. The bottom one is probably the desired version conflicts/depends.

thanks
simon

% dpkg -I orage_4.8.1-1_i386.deb
[…]
Depends: […] xfce4-panel (>= 4.6.0), xfce4-panel (<< 4.7.0)
[…]

This looks fine.

It doesn't depend on both, but it requires xfce4-panel between 4.6 and
4.7 (so 4.6.x). This is on purpose, as a plugin built against
xfce4-panel 4.6 won't work with xfce4-panel 4.8.

and the top one is red. The bottom one is probably the desired version conflicts/depends.
