Package: libmail-imapclient-perl

Severity: important

The Mail::IMAPClient shipping in squeeze has serious issues processing
logout properly, where it will erroneously report failures if the
server's logout text has been split across multiple packets.
Dovecot (used here) is apparently particularly prone to producing the
problem.
For our own use, we have been downgrading to the lenny supplied 3.08
version, without any loss of functionality we need; this may not work
for others.
This bug has been fixed upstream in 3.26 and newer. Debian unstable
and testing are now shipping 3.28, which include the fix. The
original upstream bug report can be found as rt.cpan.org#60045.
