Bug#676457: amd64 packages in pool

June 10th, 2012 - 04:40 pm ET by Milan Kocian | Report spam
hi,

That is because the package has been "multiarched." In other words,
the i386 packages now satisfy the amd64 dependencies.

'dpkg --add-architecture i386' is the right trick :-). Many thanks for hint.

btw. Is it possible to run 64bit windows binaries on this ? Probably not ...

best regards,

Milan Kocian

Not yet. We aren't building wine64 yet, but that could change if
there were a volunteer interested in figuring out how to make that
work.

Best wishes,
Mike
