Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting,
technology and outsourcing services, announced today that its
Infrastructure Services business in North America has signed a
five-year, approximately $9.5 million agreement with Habitat for
Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian
housing ministry dedicated to the cause of eliminating
poverty housing. Capgemini will provide infrastructure management (IM)
and managed applications support to Habitat for Humanity International,
including server and storage refresh and the transfer of operational
responsibility for approximately 65 percent of Habitat’s applications
and the networks supporting their six domestic and five international
offices.
Capgemini will leverage its Rightshore® global delivery model to provide
leading information technology services with a standardized level of
service management to Habitat for Humanity’s global locations, allowing
them to boost IT service reliability and performance delivered from a
refreshed infrastructure platform.
