CDW Government LLC (CDW-G), a leading
provider of technology solutions to government, education and healthcare
customers, today announced it won a multiple-award,
indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) supply contract to
provide commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) network and communications
equipment to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SSC
Atlantic).
In addition to this latest award, during the last 13 months CDW-G won
three other multiple-award contracts to provide COTS solutions to SSC
Atlantic in support of its mission to equip the warfighter with critical
information. All four contracts are indefinite-delivery/indefinite
quantity, fixed-price agreements with one base year and four option
years. SSC Atlantic estimates the value of each contract for all
contract holders combined at $500 million, if all options are exercised.
SSC Atlantic is a Navy Working Capital Fund engineering center that
provides systems, sensor connections, cyber network infrastructures and
knowledge management services to enable naval, joint and national
warfighters to access the information they need, securely, regardless of
their location. Under the contracts, CDW-G will help SSC Atlantic
deliver “speed to capability” in support of the Department of Defense
(DoD) and the global war on terrorism.
“CDW-G’s four contract awards demonstrate our steadfast support of the
warfighter and our longstanding ability to provide solutions that enable
reliable, secure access to essential information,” said Bob Kirby, vice
president of federal government for CDW-G. “We bring technology from
industry’s best developers to help the nation’s military leaders achieve
knowledge superiority for our troops in the field.”
CDW-G’s four recent contract awards from SSC Atlantic include:
