Celebro Media Networks, international IPTV and broadcast specialists,
are happy to announce its Director of Business & Consulting Wesley Dodd
will lead the session 'TV Without Borders: How Can Innovative Delivery
Methods Enrich Audience Understanding of World Events' at the sixth
annual TV Connect Forum EurAsiaEastEurope 2012 to be held in Istanbul on
9-10 October 2012.
With the company’s innovative experience in facilitating international
channel partnerships and delivering what appears to be conventional live
TV but using IP technology, Celebro Media’s Wesley Dodd will focus on
how two-way partnerships between local news channels and international
broadcasters boost quality and build audience reach, how innovative
delivery methods empower user experience across different screens and
put the means of distribution in the hands of the audience, and how
social media transform news-gathering. This expert discussion will take
place on 10 October at 12:30pm in the conference stream ‘Achieving
Quality of Experience through Innovative Architecture.’
Amongst its recent completed projects, Celebro Media Networks were
Launch Consultants for BBC World Service's first TV news and current
affairs programme in Swahili for African audiences, launched on 27
August. In this new international channel partnership, the BBC’s partner
TV stations - Star TV in Tanzania and QTV in Kenya - will broadcast BBC
Swahili’s 'World Compass', bringing the viewers 30 minutes of latest
global news and analysis from the leading international
broadcaster. Earlier this year, Celebro Media Networks were Launch
Consultants for BBC World Service’s first international IPTV service
with live news bulletins in Russian. This project is a partnership
between BBC Russian and Russia's 24-hour channel TV Dozhd, delivering
international news live from the New Broadcasting House to
Russian-speaking audiences using IPTV technology*.
Over the last six years, the IP&TV Forum EurAsia East Europe event has
been the leading regional platform driving the debate, development and
deployment of IP delivered TV, reflecting on the industry-leading
knowledge of Informa Telecoms & Media. Now branded as TV Connect to
address all aspects of TV delivery including IPTV, OTTtv, multi-platform
services and interactive content creation, this forum acts as a platform
that explores all opportunities and business potential in the connected
TV industry. TV Connect is a great opportunity to learn and share
frontline TV industry experience.
