If you have a large number of internet favourites, they have surely been added over a long period of time. It is possible that some of these are no longer valid links, either because a site has disappeared, or because an address has simply changed, making these links useless.

To know which of your links are still active, you can verify these by hand, but you should know that there are programs that can do this for you. AM-DeadLink for example will be able to help you do this, and it is completely free.

After having downloaded and installed the program, you will need to select the web browser that you want to verify.
