Coop Supermarkten B.V. Selects JDA Space and Category Management Solutions to Optimize and Customize Store Assortments

JDA^® Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS), The Supply Chain Company^®, today announced that Coop Supermarkten B.V., a leading supermarket retailer with more than 211 stores in the Netherlands, selected JDA^® Space Planning, JDA^® Floor Planning and JDA^® Intactix Knowledge Base in the first quarter of 2012 to optimize and customize its store assortments to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Coop Supermarkten B.V. is a Dutch organization with a cooperative structure. Its interests are united in more than 200 modern supermarkets operating under the names CoopCompact, Coop and Supercoop. They are run by independent entrepreneurs (60 percent) and branch managers (40 percent).
