Courion Accelerates European Growth Plans with New Senior Sales Appointment

Courion® Corporation, the leader in identity and access management for access risk, today announced the appointment of Rik Van Bruggen, as head of sales for Central Europe. He joins the EMEA team led by Marc Lee, Sales Director EMEA, and will be responsible for building on Courion’s existing successes in the region and accelerating the company’s growth into Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.

Van Bruggen brings over a decade’s worth of senior European sales experience in security and identity management solutions. He joins Courion from Imprivata where he held a series of senior sales positions including VP Sales EMEA. Prior to Imprivata, he worked for Novell and EDS in Europe.
