Create Windows XP installation diskettes

November 01st, 2001 - 06:00 pm ET by B. C.

Just like with Windows NT4 or 2000, it is possible under Windows XP to create boot disks.

Unlike with Windows 2000, it is not possible to create these from the Windows XP installation CDROM.

These diskettes, 6 in total, are only available via download from the Microsoft site in the form of compressed auto executables. This file comes in 6 image files of 1.44MB floppy disks, with the creation of the disks being performed for you.
