  1. 1 - Installations
  2. 2 - Tab Creation

The MSN instant messenger has not stopped evolving over the last few years and with the arrival of the latest engine we continue to see a large number of new functions that were not included in previous versions. Version 7, the latest to date, has a lot more features but still remains quite easy to use.

During this tip you will see how you can simply add/change your own tabs with the help of a small additional program that is free.

Here is how you can do it:

First of all you will need to download Messenger Plus! With the Stuffplug patch for MSN 7, here are the links:

  • Messenger Plus!
  • Stuffplug

Close MSN, install Messenger plus! and Stuffplug. Be careful with the MSN+ sponsor advertisements at the start of the installation! Leave the default options for the installation.

--> Restart MSN

  1. Open the main MSN contacts page.
  2. In the menu bar, click “Plus” and “Settings”.
  3. A window will open and you will need to click on “Plugins” from the bottom left of the menu.
  4. To the left, check “Authorise loading”, StuffPlug-NG and click the “Configure” button.

  • Check the “Create a new tab” option and next.

There will be a list of tabs that are already present, you should look at these.

When the “Activate tab management” option is checked, all the tabs that are installed by MSN are automatically hidden. This is a solution that you can use to eliminate these if you don’t want them. You just need to uncheck the option that makes them visible.
