Define a disk quota for each user

When numerous people use the same computer, some may take up a lot more space then the others, leaving very little for the rest of the people. A measure is available to allocate the maximum amount of disk space available for each user (the quota is customizable depending on each user) so that everyone has space to store their data. Here is how it can be done.

Start the workstation and select the hard drive you want to configure. Right click on it and select “Properties”.

In the new window which will appear, select the “Quota” tab. Next check the boxes titled, “Enable Quota Management” and “deny space to users exceeding limit” and click on the “Quota Entries” button at the bottom right.
