A new version of the 285.38 drivers for the GeForce has been made available to go with the anticipated release of Battlefield 3, with the programming delivering improved performance.
Battlefield 3, the next and highly anticipated first person shoot ‘em up game from Battlefield series will be released on the 29th of September as a beta version, followed by the final release on the 28th of October.
Californian company NVidia has also updated their GeForce drivers, with version 285.38 being released as a beta with these designed with this new game release in mind. It has been announced that these drivers have continued to a 38% performance improvement, better stability, a better picture quality and the addition of an SLI profile for Battlefield 3.

At the same time, this new engine will also update the SLI profiles for video games Dead Island, Diablo III, Dragon Age 2, Need for Speed: The Run and Saints Row: The Third, while it will also correct a regression seen in Crysis 2 running DirectX 9.
