Soonr, a leader in secure
business cloud services that transforms tablets like the iPad into
business productivity tools, today announced several new updates to the
mobile apps for Soonr Workplace that will help the enterprise securely
control and leverage the power and flexibility of the cloud while
helping business and sales teams manage and enhance workflow on their
mobile devices.
“Soonr is the first and only business cloud service to turn iPads and
other mobile devices into true mobile workstations,” said Martin
Frid-Nielsen, co-founder and CEO of Soonr. “iPads are no longer just
content-consuming devices – Soonr transforms the iPad into a content
creation center enabling your workforce to directly create and modify
content and upload videos and photos in the field in real time.”
The new capabilities build on Soonr’s announcement last year of being
the first vendor to offer integrated cloud service and Microsoft Office
editing capabilities on the iPad. The updates are designed to increase
the level of control, ease of use and document access that sales,
marketing and enterprise teams have while working on any mobile device.
New document creation capabilities now allow users to create a new Word,
Powerpoint, Excel or Soonr Scribble documents instantaneously all within
the Soonr interface, no need to launch a separate application. Now teams
not only can access their important business documents securely on the
iPad, but now Soonr Workplace boosts iPhone support.
In addition to new document creation capabilities, Soonr Scribble, the
mark-up and annotation cloud services app by Soonr, is now integrated
into Soonr Workplace, which lets users annotate and markup more than 35
file types. Now users can Scribble on their documents to make quick
comments, markup and add or remove pages directly from Soonr Workplace.
Sales professionals in the trenches now have the power and access to
upload photos and videos directly to Soonr from their iPad to include in
their presentations and collateral without missing a beat with
customers. Soonr Workplace’s new document viewer on the iPad now
supports a high-resolution retina display allowing for more vibrant
presentations, while adding multiple viewing directions for more
presentation flexibility and functionality.
