First demonstration video of an untethered Jailbreak iOS 5

Jailbreak iOS 5.0 in untethered mode doesn’t appear to be far away, as Pod2g has now provided a video demonstration of how this can be done.
Each new version of the iOS platform has its own jailbreak release, although iOS 5 appears to be a little different. While it is already possible to tether a jail broken phone, the new functions integrated into the OS make it more difficult to create an untethered jailbreak tool (a permanent jailbreak, without having to restart each time you reboot the device).
Things seem to be moving forward with a developer, Pod2g, now publishing a demonstration video of an untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0, with access to the alternative Cydia portal. The procedure and tools required to perform this task have not yet been made public, but these will likely soon appear on the web.
