The Apple tablet exists, and Flurry has seen it! The company states that they have seen fifty devices which could be tablets in testing at Apples Cupertino campus.
The company Flurry, who offers mobile analytical tools which collect information related to the consumption of mobile applications, believes that they have detected fifty mobile devices connected to Apples Cupertino campus, with it being possible that these devices are the Apple tablet which should be announced on the 27th of January.
The company previously provided estimations as to Google Nexus One Smartphone sales one week after its launch, with it this time indicating that they seem to have picked up on intensive use of an object since the beginning of January of which the first signals were detected in October 2009.
For Flurry, Apple is currently in the last testing phase of their product before the release of the tactile tablet. They have even been able to detail the applications being tested, with about 200 different programs noted by Flurry in numerous categories, providing an indication of the kind of use that this device will be aimed at.

A tablet created for entertainment
According to the information picked up on by Flurry, the tablet (or at least the detected device) seems to be aimed at entertainment, with games having been widely tested. It also appears that the tablet is aimed at flexible use, in the same way as other devices presented at the CES in Las Vegas, rather then being a professional tool.
It has been noted that a significant number of applications linked to eBooks may be provided, confirming the theory that Apple will be taking on the digital publishing field through agreements signed with publishers.
Flurry finally notes that the handsets will use version OS 3.2 which hasn’t yet been released (the current version is 3.1.2). This update, which could also be announced on the 27th of January, shouldn’t have any compatibility problems with current mobile applications, as it appears that Apple wants to take advantage of their enormous catalogue of applications on the tablet, currently numbering more then 130 000. According to rumours, Apples is aiming to sell 10 million tablets in 2010.
