Using public data provided by the United States Department of Energy¹, Xi3 Corporation today announced that many end-users—businesses, schools, government agencies, non-profits and consumers—are paying far too much each month to run their computers.

In fact, Xi3 claims that by switching from their existing desktop computers to ecofriendly Xi3^® Modular™ Computer solutions, many end-users could actually save enough money each month to cover the cost of acquiring new computers. In other words, many customers can essentially get free computers by moving to Xi3².

Computer owners in Hawaii pay more than 30 cents per Kilowatt Hour. In many Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states and in California, end-users pay up to $0.15 or even higher per KwH, rates that can equal more than $260 per year just for the electricity to run one 200 Watt desktop computer itself. In comparison, the full-power, dual-core processor-based energy-friendly Xi3 Modular Computer needs only 20 Watts of electricity to operate at a cost of $26 per year.

Xi3 Announces its EcoLease^SM Program and its Agreement with VAR Resources

Xi3 also announced today it has entered into an agreement with VAR Resources, one of the leading independent providers in the U.S. of leasing solutions for technology manufacturers and their distribution channel partners. In connection with its relationship with Dallas, Texas-based VAR Resources, Xi3 unveiled today its EcoLease Program, which allows qualifying end-users and organizations to lease Xi3 products, including TAND3M-enabled Xi3 Modular Computers, for terms of 36, 48 or 60 months*.

Xi3 has produced a free online EcoLease Calculator to allow end-users to determine the exact savings they can gain by leasing Xi3 Modular Computer solutions and removing their existing computers from operation.
