FUJITSU TEN LIMITED: China Management Company Starts Operations -- New Company will Provide Management of Development/Design/Purchasing/Production/Sales, and Expand Business through Local Direction and Oversight --.

FUJITSU TEN LIMITED (Headquarters in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, President and Representative Director: Takashi Shigematsu, capital: 5.3 billion yen) is proud to announce that our Chinese business management company, FUJITSU TEN (CHINA) LTD., established with 100% capital of FUJITSU TEN LIMITED, is starting operations today (June 25).

From the founding of TIANJIN FUJITSU TEN ELECTRONICS CO., LTD., a production company, in December 1995, the FUJITSU TEN GROUP has strived to expand business in China with leadership situated in Japan. This newly established management company will provide management functions for the activities of our four Chinese subsidiaries^*, such as the development/design company FUJITSU TEN RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (TIANJIN) LTD., and is accordingly expected to expand our business in China by providing local direction and oversight.

Sales of new automobiles in China have grown to exceed 10 million units in 2009, making it the number one largest market in the world. The FUJITSU TEN GROUP aims to increase foreign sales focused mainly on developing nations and the establishment of this management company in China will certainly play an important role in that strategy.
