Goblin and Roy Schestowitz Caught Lying Again...........
July 16th, 2011 - 12:18 pm ET by Gary Stewart | Report spam
As previously posted, there is a serious audio problem with
Techloons Episode 55.
The sound is completely garbled and in spots almost unintelligible.
Original post is at the bottom.
Now, as predicted Goblin appears and of course blames it on Skype or
the ISP on either side.
And like "magic" within a few minutes, Roy Schestowitz appears with
a "Microsoft Skype Sucks" message, which can be viewed here:

So, let's examine this a little and use some common sense:
1. No mention of this problem was made anywhere until *I* brought it
up by posting in COLA.
2. Goobler knows full well I listen to these things just looking for
amateur production so it's common sense that he would at least
mention the errors in the show notes etc.
Nothing, although I expect him to edit the documents and call
attention to it so be ready for that.
3. Both claim it's a Skype issue, but Goobler also adds ISP issue
into it.
Don't they know?
4. If indeed it was a Skype issue, how were they able to
hear/understand each other real time and WHY WAS NO MENTION OF IT
MADE IN THE EPISODE?
That's the killerAnd that is where their lies get exposed.
Get ready for the attacks on *my* skills to begin.
BTW you can also listen at 33:00 or so to hear how bad this really
sounds.

"Do you amateurs even listen to your own droppings?
This tecbytes episode 55 takes the cake for abysmal audio quality.
Example: At 15:20 or so when Goblin starts whining, he sounds all
garbled and it's impossible to understand what he is saying.
The sound then recovers for a little while but it happens again
later in the episode.
Both the High Quality mp3 and OGG file suffer from this.
This is a perfect example of how poor the Linux operating system and
associated programs are for recording audio tracks.
Put these bargain basement Linux / FOSS programs in the hands of
amateurs like Goblin and his boss Roy Schestowitz and it really
turns to crap real fast!
Great job advocating Linux boys!
Keep up the good work and Protools has nothing to worry about!
You can listen here, jump to 00:15:20:00...(h:m:s:f:)About 15:50 in
Media Player.

Oh and should the slimy morons attempt to edit it, I have all the
files stored locally. "
