Sometimes for security reasons you may not want to have the “Administration tools” accessible on your machine. These tools allow you to access advanced functions on the computer and disabling their access will prevent any accidental changes.

Here is how you can make the administration tools inaccessible:
Connect to the computer as the administrator (or with an an account that has administrator privelidges).
Click “Start”, “Run”, and type “regedit”. Click on “OK” and you will havez the Windows Registry open in front of you.
Go to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\ControlPanel\NameSpace
Select the following key: {D20EA4E1-3957-11d2-A40B-0C5020524153} and press on the F2 key on your keyboard to change the name of the key, and add ### marks in front of it like this:

Once the change has been completed then you can close the Windows Registry.
The change will immediately take effect, and by simply going to the Control Panel you will see that shortcut to the Administration Tools is no longer present!
