Start-ups represent that growth of the CE industry and CE Week
understands the necessity of supporting their innovations. New to the
2012 CEA Line Shows exhibit floor is the Innovation Zone, an exclusive
area featuring ten of today’s finest start-ups hand selected by show
management. The 2012
CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown Conference is scheduled for June
27-28 at the Metropolitan Pavilion and Altman Building in New York City.
The event is the official show headquarters of a weeklong series of CE
technology events taking place in the city during the course of CE
Week, June 25-29.
The ten companies exhibiting in the Innovation Zone were selected from a
number of applicants vying to be part of this stand-out area on the show
floor. The editors of CustomRetailer magazine will examine each product
in the Innovation Zone on Wednesday, June 27 and select three finalists
who will be in the running to win the coveted Technovation Award. These
three finalists will then square-off against each other during the
Innovation Zone Presentation on Thursday, June 28 at 4:30 p.m., where
they’ll each be given five minutes to show-off their product. At the end
of the presentations Maureen Jenson, CustomRetailer Editor-in-Chief,
will select the winner of the Technovation Award.
The 10 stand-out companies and the innovative products they’ll be
showcasing in the Innovation Zone include:
