Insyndia, a global solutions and consulting firm that targets the
developing world and governments with information security and general
IT services, today announced that it has appointed John Haggard to its
senior management team as Senior Vice President Strategy. Mr. Haggard
brings to Insyndia more than 25 years of vast experience in information
security. During his career, he has become a pioneer in the design,
development, and delivery of advanced state-of-the-art information
security products in many different areas that include international,
corporate, government, and educational institutions. He has extensive
experience ranging from large mainframe enterprise systems to large
Internet distributed systems. In his new role, Mr. Haggard will head
Insyndia’s strategy initiatives as the company expands its global
footprint.
“John comes to us with a breadth of qualifications that are well aligned
with Insyndia’s goals. He is a world-class entrepreneurial leader with a
proven track record of success. Adeptly suited to spearhead the
tremendous opportunities in the technology industry, John is a dynamic
addition to our senior management team. We look forward to John’s
contributions to Insyndia’s continued growth and development,” said
Kevin Casey, CEO of Insyndia Corporation.
Mr. Haggard added, “I am extremely pleased to conjoin my consulting
practice with Insyndia. I have collaborated with the founders, Kevin
Casey and Lance Gaines, in the security industry for many years and have
deep respect not only for their talent, drive and experiences, but also
their ethics. My role is to expand Insyndia from a global enterprise
solutions provider to include being a global launch platform for
existing and emerging security vendors. Several vendors are already in
the queue and we plan on major announcements of these launches this
summer.”
Before Mr. Haggard joined Insyndia, he was a member of an elite team in
the mid-1980’s that developed and deployed the world's first extended
user authentication infrastructure for authentication beyond passwords.
He has served as the ACF2 Development Manager for SKK Inc., then as
Product Owner of the Security, Control, and Audit division of CA (NYSE:
CA) until 1994. Since then he has led startup companies that focus on
deploying biometrics and one time passwords that service international
financial institutions. Mr. Haggard has also served as President, COO,
and CTO of VASCO Data Security International (Nasdaq: VDSI), bringing
that company into the market in 1994. Since 2000, he has served on the

field of advanced smart card technologies related to authentication and
security. Mr. Haggard has a BS in Computer Science from Northern
