Internet Explorer needs to close ...

For the past week or so, we get the following message box;-

"Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

In the box there is the option to send a report or not to
send a report.

Sometimes, we get the message as soon as the Home Page
loads - otherwise it can occur at anytime - but we get
this problem at least three or four times each day.

Does anyone know what could be the cause - and what could
be the remedy?
