Amongst the folly of rumours about a launch in early March, it seems that Apple is planning an event on the 7th of March which corresponds to the unveiling of the iPad 3 tablet.

The iPad 3 tablet continues to be spoken about, with Apples share price now being close to 500 dollars and reacting to every piece of related news. A launch has been scheduled for March and numerous rumours appearing last week have started to crystalize about an announcement window.

The latest information has it that the unveiling will take place in the first week of March. At the same time, it seems that the iOS 5.1 upgrade is planned for the 9th of March, suggesting that the tablet will be available around this date, with its unveiling to come a few days before.

iPad 2 02According to the latest information taken from numerous sites, including iMore, the press conference unveiling the iPad 3 tablet will take place on the 7th of March 2012. While it appears that the new tablet will benefit from a Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, debate about its Apple A6 processor remains open.

Last week, the quad-core processor identified for the tablet was brought into question, with everyone believing that an optimised dual core processor compared to Apple’s A5 present in the iPad2 could instead be used. The site iMore has now revealed that it is more likely that Apple A6 processor will be quad-core.

The iPad 3 tablet could also be the first Apple product to be compatible with high speed LTE mobile networks, with this being available in applicable markets. This technology has already been deployed in the USA and will be widely deployed in Europe by 2013 (Northern Europe and Germany are already more advanced than other areas).
