Connectivity and various accessories

There are all sorts of cables and adaptors available for the iPhone, like the Apple AV composite cable and Noosy HDMI adaptor allowing you to connect your device to the TV or video projector. At the end of this year, the big new release is the Magic Cable Trio – a very practical three-in-one cable (mini USB, micro USB, iPhone connector). You also can’t go past the spiralled Griffin audio auxiliary cable which creates a connection to your radio or Hi-Fi system. If you are often overseas, there are also various chargers available for your iPhone like the Voyage Power Charger pack which comes with a  range of different plugs to charge your device with. The iTrip FM transmitter and its digital display will allow you to listen to music through your cars speakers without a cable, while the PARROT MKi9000 is a hands free system dedicated to conversations and listening to music in the car. The Bergcloud mini printer for iPhone is presented in the form of a small cube which can be carried around with you to quickly print out whatever you need no matter where you are.

Multimedia, speakers

For multimedia, we will start with the Numark iDJ Live dual turntables which allow you to mix your music like a DJ! We also like the Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD – a 720p HD video projector which allows you to watch films from your iPhone on the big screen… For people on a limited budget you should take a look at the Mili HP-A10 pico-projector which brings with it a 70 inch diagonal. Two other products which attracted our attention were the Triple lens iPhone Lens Dial for those that like taking photos (Wide angle (0.7 ), Fisheyes (0.33) and telescopic lens (1.5)) and the 6X Telephoto Lens with Crystal Case for iPhone 4/ 4S – a 6X optical zoom! Concerning speakers, there is a vast choice but we like the Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Air with its good looking design, the Glow Tunes iP15 which changes colours in time with the music’s rhythm, and Gear4’s Angry Birds. Also take a look at the SuperTooth Disco, a 28 Watt Bluetooth speaker/bar and the magnificent Loewe Soundbox.

Alarm clocks, remote controls

Once again, we can say that there are many alarm clocks available for the iPhone. We have personally opted for the Grayscale Cdock which comes in wood, aluminium or shiny resin, the Dock ExtremeMac Luna SST which won’t blind you at night and comes with an internal battery in the event you have a power outage and the Gear4 Renew Sleep Clock capable of analysing your movements and breathing while you sleep to better help you wake up. Transforming your iPhone into a universal remote control is also possible with the Griffen Beacon Remote Control which controls more than 200 000 devices (TV, Blu-ray, consoles, satellite boxes, media players). How can you control your iPhone remotely? Easily with an infrared remote like the Wireless Infra-Red (IR) Remote Control for iPhone / iPod / iPad.
