Today at Microsoft’s World
Partner Conference, iQuate the automated IT discovery, inventory and
measurement specialists announced the managed release of iQAnalytics.
iQAnalytics introduces the concept of Actionable Intelligence - Business
Intelligence data formatted to assist users to identify the correct
actions needed to resolve specific business issues. It is designed to be
used in conjunction with iQSonar – iQuate’s flagship automated
inventory, discovery and measurement platform.
iQAnalytics performs deployment analysis on the detailed inventory,
deployment and usage data delivered by iQSonar to help users identify
incorrect or inefficient deployments for specific software licenses.
This data is targeted at common licensing scenarios and clearly
demonstrates the impact of changes over time as well as highlighting
those areas where changes will deliver real savings and efficiencies.
“We already deliver the most accurate and complete inventory and
deployment data from the largest networks”, comments Jason Keogh,
iQuate founder and CTO. “Our customers value the insight that
this gives them, but the introduction of iQAnalytics and its concept of
Actionable Intelligence, takes this to the next level by helping
customers identify areas that can deliver “quick wins” in specific
licensing contexts.”
The first release of iQSonar will support Microsoft SQL Server,
Virtualization, Oracle and licensing scenarios.
“The recent changes to SQL Server licensing may cause some initial
confusion”, adds Donnie Hamlett, Microsoft Licensing Specialist,
iQuate “but we believe that the combination of iQSonar and
iQAnalytics delivers easy to understand clarity to customers
while offering Microsoft partners a unique opportunity to develop new
business opportunities”
iQuate is attending WPC as part of Enterprise Ireland’s Ireland@WPC 12
